Claritine® Syrup is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis such as sneezing nasal discharge and itching as well as ocular itching and burning. Nasal and ocular signs & symptoms are relieved rapidly after oral administration. Claritine products are also indicated for the relief of symptoms and signs of uticaria and other allergic dermatologic disorders. Loratadine is a potent long-acting tricyclic antihistamine with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist activity. Each 5 ml contains 5 mg of micronized loratadine and the inactive ingredients propylene glycol glycerin citric acid monohydrate sodium benzoate sugar peach flavor and purified water.
